Our Year 9 students have performed well in their 'Dead or Alive' drawing unit, showcasing impressive growth in their drawing skills. They expanded their artmaking practices by exploring a range of innovative ways to represent their chosen objects, pushing their creativity through experimentation with various drawing media and techniques in their mark-making.
The students developed confidence in blending traditional and contemporary approaches to enrich their artworks. Overall, this unit has seen students significantly extend themselves, developing not only their technical drawing skills but also their ability to make thoughtful artistic choices that communicate meaning and personal interpretation within their works.
