Rugby 7s

Our Rugby 7s teams recently competed in the Mid North Coast Secondary Schools State 7s Tournament, with all teams advancing to the Grand Final undefeated despite the cold and windy conditions. The 14s Girls and 16s Boys were crowned champions of their divisions, while the 14s Boys and 16s Girls finished strongly as runners-up. Congratulations to all players and their coaches. All four teams have now secured their place in the State Finals to be held in Tuggerah this September.

Bill Turner Trophy Northern NSW Finals

Our Bill Turner Trophy team has secured a place in the semi-finals! Top 4 in a nation-wide competition for the second year in a row. They claimed a 5–3 victory over St Joseph's Lochinvar in the Round of 16, followed by a hard-fought 2–1 win against Merewether in the quarter-final. Congratulations to the players and their coaches, Vicky Istrate and Josh Moore!

Bill Turner Cup Northern NSW Finals

The boys faced a well-drilled St Bede’s, Chisholm side in the Round of 16, showing great skill and teamwork but going down 2–0. They backed up strongly the following day in a consolidation match against Emmanuel Anglican, securing a 4–3 victory with Busby Hibberd scoring all four goals. A big thank you to Damien Wood and Craig Bertwistle for their guidance and excellent team management across the two days.

Year 9 & 10 Term 4 Sport Selections

Sports selections have been finalised and invoices will be issued via Compass. Payment is required by the Tuesday 23 September.

Term 4 Representative Sport Sign Up Form

Students interested in representing the College in Volleyball, Water Polo, Golf, Cricket, League Tag, Basketball, or Squash are encouraged to complete the Term 4 Representative Sport sign-up form on the SJPC Sport Google Classroom.
